The State Government is Going to Build an Airport in Ayodhya

The process of building Ramlala temple in Ayodhya is gaining momentum following the Supreme Court's decision. With this, preparations have also been made for a comprehensive black revolution in Ayodhya. Now Uttar Pradesh is going to build an airport in Ayodhya with the help of the central government.

Visiting Ramlala in Ayodhya will also be able to be airlifted soon. For this, the state government is going to build an airport in Ayodhya. This information was given by Union Minister of Civil Aviation Hardeep Singh Puri in written reply to a question in Lok Sabha on Thursday.

Hardeep Puri said that the Airport Authority of India has received a proposal from the Uttar Pradesh government to build Ayodhya Airport. The state government wants to develop the airport already located there under the regional connectivity scheme-Udaan. For this, the state government has already sanctioned 6.40 billion rupees. The government has released another 1.25 billion rupees for the purchase of land on November 1 itself. Puri said the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has received a proposal from the Uttar Pradesh government. The state government will develop the existing airstrip through the State Construction and Design Services (UP Jal Board) under the Regional Contact Scheme (RCS). Demand for the construction of an airport in Ayodhya has been raised in the recent past. On November 10, Delhi BJP unit chief Manoj Tiwari wrote to Puri to demand an international airport in Ayodhya as the holy city would become a center of faith for Hindus around the world after the construction of the Ram temple.

At the same time, on the question of developing Gorakhpur Airport as an international airport, Hardeep Puri said that the state government could not provide 60 acres of additional land for this. The Airport Authority of India had demanded additional land to build an international airport. However, the state government could not give it due to the forest land around the airport.
