UK based architects Norma Fosters have prepared the design and Naidu have almost finished it with some minor changes.

The building will be of three floors and a tower which will give the building the shape of an upturned-lily flower.

Uttar Pradesh chief minister yogi Adityanath had proposed a 100 m tall statue of Lord Rama at Ayodhya river banks. Rama statue will be 201 meters tall. Karnataka government build a statue of mother Cauvery which will be125 feet wall.

On 31 October prime minister Narendra Modi declares the statue of unity as the world's tallest statue.

Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu's political one-upmanship is not limited to spearheading an anti-BJP alliance and blocking CBI's entry into his state. He has now stated that the proposed Andhra Pradesh assembly building at Amravati will be taller than the statue of unity by 68 metres.
