The Election Commission Said – Do Not Stop Broadcasting “NAMO TV”

Election Commission has given great relief to Namo TV after the ban on Modi's biopic by cinema houses, televisions, and internet or any other way. In an order issued late in the night, the Election Commission has said that no restriction is being imposed on the broadcast of Namo TV. But it has definitely said that such content should not be broadcasted without the approval of the Commission for the promotion of Lok Sabha elections on Namo Channel.

The EC has written a letter in this regard to the chief election officer of Delhi in strict tone and said that all the advertisements on Namo TV should be verified by the MCMC Committee. The Election Commission sent the Chief Election Officer of the National Capital Region In the letter, the Election Commission wrote, "You have confirmed that the content being broadcast on NaMo TV is to the MCMC Committee of your office. Has not been pre-verified.

The Commission wrote, 'Namo TV and its content are sponsored by a political party. In such a case, on the basis of the order of April 13, 2004, the guidelines of the Election Commission issued on April 15, 2004, will be applicable to this channel. Therefore, it is mandatory to get verified with MCMC Committee before broadcasting every advertisement, program and political content that is broadcasting on Namo TV.
