A discount of 100 rupees is being given in the price of Tata Sky HD set-top box. This discount is being given as a special offer. This offer has been made live for all customers. It is worth noting that Tata Sky had increased the prices of HD and SD set-top boxes by Rs 300 last month. After the price hike, the HD set-top box was priced at Rs 1,499 while the SD set-top box was priced at Rs 1,399. Apart from Tata Sky, Airtel Digital TV is currently offering its HD set-top box discount.
According to the official listing, Tata Sky HD is being offered for Rs 1,399 under the set-top-box special offer. It is worth noting that this new price is equal to the current price of the company's SD set-top box.
At the moment it is not clear how long customers will be able to take advantage of this current offer. Also, if you buy a set top box from an offline retailer then they may get some difference in price. With the help of this new offer, Tata Sky can help expand HD connections. For your information, Airtel Digital TV and Dish TV are also offering similar offers to customers for adopting HD experience.
In comparison, the HD set-top box is being offered by Airtel Digital TV for Rs 1,300. At the same time, HD set-top box is being made available by Dish TV for Rs 1,690. However, one month subscription, lifetime warranty and coupon worth Rs 2,000 are also being given from select brands.
