A new Rs. 222 data add-on bundle from Reliance Jio has been released specifically for the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. The plan has a 30-day expiration date. Up to 50GB of high-speed data can be used with the recharge packs. According to the telecom operator, there are no calls or SMS perks included in the plan. Users can stream the FIFA World Cup using this plan, but only in conjunction with an existing base plan. To learn about the plan's specifics, continue reading.
The new Jio Rs. 222 data plan, dubbed the "Football World Cup Connection pack," includes 50GB of high-speed internet data. It can only be used in conjunction with an existing base plan, and customers won't be able to access the extra data until they've used up their daily allotment. Both the My Jio app and the Jio website offer access to the plan.
The 30-day expiration date applies to the plan. It has been designed specifically for football enthusiasts, allowing them to watch the games live on JioCinema and other platforms. As a result, it's probable that the telecom provider would cancel this service following the FIFA World Cup 2022. There is, however, a plan that is comparable to the Rs. 222 plan and costs Rs. 301.
In addition, Jio subscribers can select more affordable data add-on plans starting at Rs. 181. On an existing plan, 30GB of data are available for 30 days.
Other cellular companies have also launched exclusive FIFA World Cup 2022 plans, in addition to Reliance. For the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, Vodafone Idea has unveiled four new international roaming (IR) contracts. In addition to broadband connectivity, international calls to India, SMS, and other features, these Vi roaming recharge bundles also offer other advantages. Only Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates have access to these plans.
