Realme 5s Quick Review: Know here all in detail about this Latest Smartphone

Realme recently stepped out of the budget segment and launched a new premium smartphone in the Indian market. This smartphone is Realme X2 Pro. With this, the company has also launched the budget smartphone Realme 5s. This is an upgraded version of Realme 5 only. Its price has been kept at Rs 9,999. Its direct competition is with Redmi Note 8 in the Indian market. We have used it for some time and now we are telling you its quick review.

Actually, it can be believed that Realme 5s has been launched as the competitor of Redmi Note 8. First, Realme launched Realme 5 with a quad camera setup and kept its price at Rs 9999. Its primary camera was 12MP. Later, Xiaomi also launched the Redmi Note 8 with a quad camera setup at Rs 9,999, but its primary camera was 48MP.

Now both smartphones were left with one-one good features. Realme 5 had a large 5000mAh battery, but the primary was 12MP. At the same time, the primary camera of Redmi Note 8 was 48MP, but its battery was 4,000mAh. Meanwhile, Realme reduced the price of Realme 5 by Rs 1,000 to Rs 8,999 and now launched the new Realme 5s. It is completely like Realme 5. Only 48MP is the new edition. Apart from this, customers will also get a new red color variant.

Talking about the specifications of the new Realme 5s, it has Android 9 Pie based ColorOS 6, 6.5-inch HD + (720 x 1600 pixels) display, Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protection, Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, quad rear camera (48MP primary , 8MP wide-angle, 2MP macro, 2MP portrait), 13MP selfie camera and 5,000mAh battery.

As far as the first impression is concerned, there is a glossy finishing texture in the rear here. A lot of fingerprint marks are made in it. Fingerprint sensor is also given in the back. The power button is in the right and the volume rockers are in the left. The bottom has a micro USB port, 3.5mm headphone jack and speaker grill. Improved USB Type-C support would have gone here. Similarly, its display is HD +. FHD + display could be used instead. The rest of the color and brightness is better according to budget phones. Overall phone has a better look and build quality is also excellent, only the phone can look a little bit weighed.

Talking about the hardware part, the new Snapdragon 665 processor has been given here. We have used it before also and here also there is no problem in regular use. As far as software is concerned, like other phones of Realme, ColorOS is also here. It comes with some preloaded apps and bloatware. The good thing is that the option of dark mode is included in it.

Talking about the camera, the 48MP camera brings good pictures in daylight. Also, here photos in HDR and Portrait mode are also quite good. We will discuss the rest from low-light to the rest of the mode in full review. At first glance, we have liked its camera. Finally, talking about the battery, the 5,000mAh battery is quite large. Probably there will be no problem with it in future. At the moment we have not tested its charging.

Overall, at first glance, we have liked this phone with a starting price of Rs 9,999. We will tell you the rest of the full review soon.
