Quick Review of Infinix Hot 8: Best in Budget Smartphone

Infinix has launched its new budget smartphone Hot 8 in the Indian market. The company has priced it at Rs 6,999. However, at this price, customers will be able to buy this smartphone only till 31 October. At this price, 2GB + 32GB variants of India Realme C2 are available. So here we are telling you a quick review of Infinix Hot 8.

First of all, in terms of display-design and build quality, Infinix Hot 8 has a 6.52-inch HD + 20: 9 Drop Notch display with 720X1600 resolution, which is much better. The good thing is that in addition to the selfie camera in the drop notch panel, LED flash support has also been added. The rest is quite bright and punchy. Talking about build quality, its rear panel is of plastic and here the fingerprint scanner triple camera setup has been given place in the back.

This panel is of gradient design and does not look much premium. Here the power button and volume rockers have been given space in the right. At the same time there is a SIM slot in the left panel and there is also a slot for additional memory card. The bottom has a micro USB port, speaker grill, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Overall build quality is not so premium but is good in terms of price. Response of fingerprint scanner and face unlock is also better. Although small-handed people may have problems with one hand handling.

Performance, Camera and Battery: This smartphone has 64GB of storage with 4GB of RAM. In comparison, Realme C2 offers 32GB of storage with 2GB of RAM at this price. Apart from this, it has been given the Octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor. Let us know that this processor is also found in Realme C2. At first glance, there is no lag in regular use like app switching. Also, the apps are also responded immediately. Talking about the battery, the company has given a 5000mAh battery in it and the company claims that this phone can be run for 3 days. If we talk a little bit about software, there are not many pre-loaded apps here, which can be removed even if they exist. Also, for better battery optimization, an app named Freezer has also been given here.

One good thing is that there is no effect on skin tone in portrait mode. Talking about selfies, the quality is better in daylight and artificial lighting here. Although there is definitely some smoothness in the skin tone. Apart from this, front flash has been given here for low-light selfie. This flash can also be used during video calling. Here the focus of the primary camera is fast, but there is definitely some lag in the shutter.

Overall this smartphone is a good phone in the budget. HD + is a better all-rounder with display, processor, 5000mAh large battery, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. For only Rs 6,999, you have to ignore the body.
