The India launch of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has been confirmed. This smartphone was recently launched in the global market.
Alongside this phone, Motorola also launched the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, which was recently introduced to the Indian market.
Additionally, the company has also launched the Motorola Edge 50 Pro in India as part of this series.
This Motorola smartphone will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. The Realme GT 6, also equipped with this processor, is set to launch in India on June 20.
Similarly, the POCO F6, featuring the same processor, was launched in India last month. Users can expect impressive features in this Motorola smartphone.
Motorola India has released a teaser for this smartphone on the social networking site X, tagged with "Coming Soon." The post shared by the company shows an image of the phone's back panel, which features a wooden texture.
The phone's features are likely to be similar to the global variant. Motorola is expected to launch this phone in India at a price range of around ₹30,000.
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra may feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, coupled with 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. The smartphone could run on Android 14-based Hello UI.
In terms of camera setup, the back of the Motorola smartphone may house a triple camera setup. It could include a 50MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 64MP telephoto camera. For selfies and video calling, it might feature a 50MP front camera.
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is expected to pack a 4,500mAh battery and support 125W USB Type-C wired charging along with 50W wireless fast charging.
It may also come with features like an in-display fingerprint sensor, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
