MG Motor India has officially launched its popular SUV, the Hector, in a new Blackstorm Edition in the Indian market today. This new Hector Blackstorm Edition is available for sale in three seating configurations: 5-seater, 6-seater, and 7-seater.
The company has introduced this SUV in different variants. The starting price of this new Hector Blackstorm Edition has been set at Rs. 21.24 lakh (ex-showroom).
The top Sharp Pro variant of the Hector Blackstorm comes with both petrol and diesel engine options. Additionally, it is available in both Hector and Hector Plus trims.
Similar to other Blackstorm Editions, the Hector is launched with an all-black exterior paint scheme, featuring red accents on the bumpers and red brake calipers.
The company has made efforts to give the SUV's cabin a premium feel. It is adorned with Sangria and Black themes. Moreover, it has a 14-inch portrait-style touchscreen infotainment system, climate control, rear AC vents, a power driving seat, a Level-2 Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS), a digital instrument cluster, and a package of full LED lights.

The Hector and Hector Plus Blackstorm Editions are offered with a 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 2.0-litre diesel engine by the company. Its petrol engine generates a power of 141bhp and a torque of 250Nm. It is available with both a 6-speed manual transmission and CVT.
Additionally, the diesel engine produces a power of 168bhp and a torque of 350Nm. These engines are only available with a 6-speed manual transmission.
