Mahindra XUV 700 will be launched in India today at 4 PM. Even before this, many features of the SUV are coming to the fore. According to the latest report, Sony Immersive 3D surround system is being given in Mahindra XUV 700. This will be the first car in India to be offered with Sony's inbuilt sound system.
Coming to the sound system of the XUV 700, it will come with a 13 channel DSP amplifier along with 12 custom speakers and a sub-woofer. Sony claims that it gives the clearest and best music experience. This music system will also improve the sound of the compressed audio file.
According to media reports, Mahindra XUV700 will be the company's first SUV in which the new logo will be used. Mahindra XUV 700 will be advanced from the company's other SUVs not only in terms of features but also in terms of design. The design of Mahindra XUV700 is based on the XUV500. However, it is being built on a new platform. This SUV will be Mahindra's most modern designed SUV.
The XUV700's front design looks similar to the XUV500 but will get a completely new look and style. LED headlight, foglamp, and tail light can be found in the XUV700. With the new design, it will be equipped with modern features. According to the information, the XUV700 will be the first SUV in its segment to have a dual-display setup like Mercedes-Benz. This display will act as the infotainment system and instrument cluster.
Talking about other features, customers will get a wireless charging pad, dual-zone climate control, electronic parking brake with auto hold, keyless entry, push start/stop button in this SUV. Apart from this, the company has also revealed some new features which include auto booster headlamps, smart door handles, large panoramic sunroof, personal alert, and driver dryness alert system.
The Autobooster headlamps are automatically switched on when the SUV reaches a top speed of 80 kmph. It works to keep you safe at night by getting more light in the dark path. Mahindra XUV700 will be the first SUV in the segment to get a smart door handle. By touching this handle, you can open it on the outside and close it on the inside. At present, these door handles are available only in luxury cars.
The car will get a 2.2-liter turbo-diesel and a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine. In which the diesel engine will give power of about 185bhp and the turbo petrol engine will give power of about 200bhp. The engine will be mated to a manual and automatic transmission. An all-wheel-drive option may also be available in some models.
