India Welcomes 2023 BMW X5 Facelift, Going from 0 to 100 km/h in a Blazing 5.4 Seconds
BMW India has launched the BMW X5 facelift version in the Indian market. The BMW X5 has been designed to take on the SUV segment.
BMW claims that the BMW X5 will be able to run at a speed of 100 in 5.4 seconds. The top speed of the BMW X5 is said to be 243 KMPH.
The German automaker company has just introduced the BMW X5 car in two engine options and four variants.
The new BMW X5 will be produced inside the BMW Group plant in Chennai.
The BMW company unveiled the BMW X5 and X6 facelift in the global market in February this year.
The BMW X5 facelift will compete with the likes of Audi Q5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Jaguar F-Pace, Volvo XC90, Land Rover Discovery and Lexus RX in the Indian market.

2023 BMW X5 Engine, Power and Transmission
Powering the BMW X5 is a 3.0-litre 6-cylinder turbo petrol engine that produces 375 BHP at 6,250 RPM and 520 Nm of torque at 5,000 RPM which can accelerate BMW X5 from 0 to 100 KM / h in 5.4 seconds
The second 3.0-litre 6-cylinder turbo-charged diesel engine of the BMW X5 car, generates torque of 650 NM at 2,500 RPM with power of 286 BHP at 4,000 RPM which can take the BMW X5 from 0 to 100 KM / h in 6.1 seconds.
BMW X5 engines have 48V electrical motors with 12 HP and 200 NM torque.
Talking about the transmission, the BMW company has mated both the engines of the BMW X5 with an 8-speed Step Tronic automatic gearbox.
The BMW X5 car also gets the option of 4 wheel drive, due to which the SUV also gets Comfort, Efficient, Sport plus driving modes.
Design Elements of 2023 BMW X5
The front gets the company's signature illuminated BMW kidney grille, flanked by matrix adaptive LED headlamps on either side.
The BMW X5 rear also gets L-shaped LED taillights. The BMW X5 also gets 21-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
The BMW X5 can also be ordered with the M Sport package, which adds several M badges to the vehicle's exterior and an M-exclusive front apron.
The roof rails along with the BMW X5 trapezoidal exhaust tailpipe are painted in black high gloss.
Interior and Features of 2023 BMW X5
Minor changes have been made to the interior of the BMW X5 facelift. The dashboard of the BMW X5 also gets a curved single-glass surface for the infotainment system and the instrument cluster.
