Google's 'Pixel Fold' has been making headlines for quite some time. According to industry source Ross Young, the foldable phone would have a smaller outside display and an inner-size display comparable to the Galaxy Z Fold4.
According to GSM Arena, the device dubbed the 'Pixel Notepad,' would have a 5.8-inch outside display, making it broader and shorter than the Galaxy Z Fold4's planned 6.19-inch screen.
According to a previous rumor, the 'Pixel Notepad' would feature similar-sized folding screens as the Fold, implying that the Pixel Notepad will have a wider aspect ratio than the Fold.
"The Z Fold 4 and Google foldable will have similar-sized folding displays," Young explains, "but the Google cover display will be much smaller at 5.8." This implies that it will have a greater aspect ratio than the Samsung 6.19 "4 folds More will be revealed during our conference next week."
It will very certainly employ a Tensor chip but use older Pixel camera hardware, including the 12.2MP IMX363 sensor from the Pixel 2, 3, 4, and 5 series, a 12MP IMX386 ultra wide sensor, and two 8MP IMX355s for selfies.
Although Ross Young did not provide a specific date for the release of Google's first foldable, it is expected to coincide with the autumn launch of the Pixel 7.
