Amazon Luna, a cloud gaming service, is now available for purchase in the United States. Luna, which was first released in early access in 2020, now allows users to experience games on Fire TV, Fire tablets, Microsoft PCs, Chromebooks, Macs, iPhones, iPads, and Android phones. Amazon has also launched three additional channels to its Luna service. Luna's Prime Gaming Channels provides a collection of free games to Amazon Prime subscribers. A Retro Channel containing old games and a Jackbox Games Network are also available. Amazon also announced a partnership between Luna and Twitch to allow live streaming of crossover games from the cloud gaming platform.

Amazon Luna will Provide Access to Devil May Cry 5

Amazon Luna will provide prime members to enjoy a changing range of games for free each month through the Prime Gaming Channel. Prime subscribers will gain access to titles such as Devil May Cry 5, Observer: System Redux, PHOGS!, and Flashback in March. Immortals Fenyx Rising would be free to play from March 8 to March 14.

Amazon officially announced the launch of Amazon Luna in the United States on Tuesday. Along with the general release, Amazon announced the inclusion of three additional channels: Prime Gaming Channel, Retro Channel, and Jackbox Games Channel.

Subscriptions to the Retro Channel and Jackbox Games Channel cost $4.99 (about Rs. 370) per month. Classic titles such as Street Fighter II—Hyper Fighting, Metal Slug 3, and Castlevania Anniversary Edition will be accessible through the Retro Channel. In addition, with a single subscription, gamers will be capable of playing eight Party Packs from Jackbox Games. Popular titles include Quiplash, You Don't Know Jack, Drawful, and Trivia Murder Party. These games feature the Luna Couch feature, which enables you to immediately invite people to join a multiplayer gaming session, even if they will not have a Luna subscription.

Amazon Luna Launching Some New Features

Amazon Luna is receiving several additional features in addition to the new channels. Whenever competing on Windows, macOS, or Fire TV, there is a new broadcasting button that allows you to stream games to Twitch. The new broadcasting button allows you to stream live gaming with a webcam overlayed on-screen. Gamers on Fire TV may scan a QR code to link their phone to the Luna app and use it as a camera and microphone. Luna customers may now use their iPhone or Android smartphone as a controller for Fire TV by downloading the Luna Controller app.

The Primary Luna Plus Channel will Cost $9.99

The major Luna+ Channel now costs $5.99 (about Rs. 450) per month, while the Luna Family Network costs $2.99 (approximately Rs. 220) per month. Starting in April, the major Luna Plus network will cost $9.99 (about Rs. 750) per month, while the Family Channel will cost $5.99 (approximately Rs. 450). Users may keep the current cost if they subscribe before March 31. The existing beta pricing will also be locked in for Early Adopters. Amazon also sells the Ubisoft+ Channel for $17.99 per month (about Rs. 1,300).
