ACT Fibernet, the popular internet service provider in South India has partnered with Amazon to announce free Amazon Fire TV Stick with its select broadband plans. The move comes before the commercial launch of Jio GigaFiber which was expected to happen in March but now seems could be delayed further.
The ACT- Amazon FireTV Stick offer is available in select cities and with select broadband plans only. ACT subscribers opting the valid plan will get an Amazon Fire TV Stick device for free with no additional cost involved.
Note that the offers vary from city to city. For example- subscribers in Delhi will get the free Amazon Fire TV Stick with just two plans-ACT Platinum Prom and ACT Diamond.
In Chennai, the subscribers of ACT Blast Promo, ACT Storm, ACT Incredible, ACT Thunder, ACT Lightning, and ACT GIGA plans are eligible for the offer.
In Bengaluru, those who have to subscribe to ACT Storm, ACT Lightning, ACT Incredible and ACT GIGA plans can enjoy the offer.
Lastly, if the subscribers live in Hyderabad, A-Max 1299, A-Max 1050, Incredible 1999 and ACT Giga are the plans that can get them a free Amazon Fire TV Stick.
The ACT-Amazon Fire TV Stick is available for both new as well as existing subscribers. The offer is valid only with long term broadband plans so the plan should have at least 1, 6, 12 or 24-months of validity options.
Fire TV Stick is a media streaming device from Amazon that plugs into an HDTV and lets users access movies, TV shows, apps and games using the internet. The Fire TV Stick with all-new Alexa remote costs Rs 3999 while the Fire TV Stick with the Alexa remote costs Rs 5,999.
The ACT is also offering a discount of up to 50 percent on monthly tariff through a referral program if the user refers a friend to the network. However, the discount will be applicable only if the referred friend signs up for the network and completes the payment. The offer is live in areas of Tirupati, Nellore, Coimbatore, Bengaluru, and Delhi.
