Jadeja was among the players, who injured during the tour of Australia. He suffered a thumb injury in the first innings of the third Test played in Sydney. After the historic test drawn, Jadeja underwent surgery in Australia, he was also dropped out from the fourth Test played in Brisbane. According to the information, it will take at least six weeks for Jadeja to recover from the injury. He will undergo rehab at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore.
England’s tour will begin with a Test match in Chennai:
According to a BCCI source, the decision on Jadeja’s inclusion in T20I and ODI series will be taken later. England has to play 4 Tests, 5 T20s and a three-match ODI series in this tour, which will begin with two Tests in Chennai.
