Coronavirus cases are increasing continuously across the country and the numbers of corona patients are also increasing in Tamil Nadu, due to this a medical expert committee has been formed before the next action in the state. The lockdown is ending tomorrow i.e. on June 30, in 6 districts including Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu.
The Medical Expert Committee will submit its recommendations to the government, according to which a further strategy will be prepared on corona and lockdown. It should be noted that doctors and ICMR, Medical Experts of the State Government have been included in the Medical Expert Committee.
By June 28 in Tamil Nadu, the figure of corona patients has crossed 82 thousand mark and on June 28, 3940 new cases were reported in the state in 24 hours. A total of 32,948 sample tests are conducted, whereas, as of June 28, there were 35,656 active cases in the state and a total of 1079 people have lost their lives from Corona.
In view of the rapid increasing corona cases in Tamil Nadu, Southern Railway has canceled the operation of the special train. Special trains will not run in Tamil Nadu from 29 June to 15 July and the Tamil Nadu government had appealed to the Railways to stop operating the train.
Coronavirus spread is not slowing down in the country, where on one hand new coronavirus cases are constantly increasing, and on the other hand the numbers of people who are getting cured by defeating coronavirus are also increased rapidly, but along with this, the people who are losing their lives due to corona, are also increasing. According to the latest information released by the Union Health Ministry, 19,459 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country in the last 24 hours i.e. 8 am Sunday to 8 am Monday and now the total number of coronavirus cases in the country has increased to 548318.
