Suzuki has launched its new Gixxer motorcycle in India. In the new Gixxer you get new headlamps, which will be very similar to the upcoming Gixxer250. The LED unit is provided in the headlight, which is also present in the Tail Light. That is, you can call Gixxer a jersey SF without a filling. The mechanical component of both the bikes is the same.
Both bikes have been given a uniform foot tank, split seat and alloy wheels. Some parts of the bike are like the old ones, no change has been made in them. Just like the GixxerSF, the chameleon double barrel exemption and digital instrumental cluster placed in the naked zinc has been given. However, in the motorcycle you do not get belly pan like the old model. You can get this feature in the upcoming Gixxer250.
Engine
The new Gixxer155 has a single cylinder, air cooled engine of 154.9 cc, which provides 14.1 horse power and torque of 14 nm. Just like the SF, you get fuel injection technology in the naked Gixxer. The bike has a single channel ABS. Weighing 140 kg in 2019 Gixxer, which is less than six kilograms compared to the Gixxer SF variant.

A new Gixxer has been given manual transmission with 5 speed units. The total length of the bike is 2020 millimeters. Its width is 800 millimeters, height is 1,035 millimeters. In the bike, you get a wheelbase of 1,355 mm. Its ground clearance is 160 millimeters, while the seat height is 795 millimeters. In the bike, you will get a 12-liter fuel tank. Both the front and rear get disc brakes.
Price of Gixxer 2019
The price of Suzuki Gixxer155 is 1 lakh rupees (ex showroom Delhi). Its price is more than Rs. 12 thousand from the old model, which is similar to the recently launched Jicser SF. In the price of the GixxerSF, there was a similar increase in comparison to the old model.
This bike is a direct competition from the Yamaha FZ F1 in the market, with its X showroom Delhi price of Rs 95,680. Apart from this, the bike collision is from TVS Apache RTR 160 4VFI ABS and Honda CB Hornet 160 R, which is priced at Rs 99,101 and Rs 92,108 in X Showroom New Delhi.
