The suspense has come to deepen in case of assaulting two Sadhvis, Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, who is serving a sentence in Sunaria jail. Gurmeet has once again sought parole from Rohtak's Sunaria jail administration.
Gurmeet Ram Rahim has applied for 42 days parole. On Monday, Haryana's Jail Minister Krishanlal Panwar said that the decision will be taken by the administration, but Girmit is entitled to Parole. His conduct has been good in jail. Along with this, Health and Sports Minister Anil Vij also supported the grant of parole to Gurmeet Ram Rahim. Haryana Home Secretary has said that Gurmeet Ram Rahim's application is under observation.
According to the reports, Gurmeet's petition before the assembly elections has become challenging for the Haryana Government, the jail administration has recommended in favor of the Dera chief. The jail administration has said well in Gurmeet's conduct in the jail. The Haryana Government is looking into the matter over the matter. But, the statements of two ministers are getting quite a signal in this matter.
On the parole of Ram Rahim, the Home Secretary of Haryana has said that it has been found in this regard and it is being under observation. No decision has been taken yet. Report has been sought from the Commissioner of Rohtak and Sirsa regarding the parole of Gurmeet Ram Rahim.
If the application applied for parole by the head of the Dera is accepted then he can come out of jail in the next two to three weeks. Around 15th August, there is an international annual festival of Dera Sacha Sauda Sirsa, which lasts for one week. It is likely that Dera chief has applied for parole only to join this festival. Notification of assembly elections in the state will be released in the first week of September. In such a situation, Dera can take a big decision during participation in the major international annual festival.
