The title track of 'Dil Bechara' has been composed, produced and arranged by AR Rahman. The voice is also given by AR Rahman. Lyrics is written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. It is filmed on Sushant and Sanjana Sanghi. Sushant is seen walking on stage and dancing.
Regarding his experience working with Sushant for the first time, Farah Khan wrote, "This song is special to me because it was the first time I choreographed Sushant Singh. We were friends for a long time but did not work together. I also promised Mukesh Chhabra that when he makes his directorial debut, I will definitely do a song in his film. I wanted the song to be completed in one shot, because I am aware of the dancing qualities of Sushant Singh. He once came to our reality show as a celebrity judge, where he danced more than the contestants."
Farah wrote, "We rehearsed the entire song in one day and then in half-a-day the entire song was compiled in one shot. Instead of completing the song so well soon, Sushant used to ask me for food from my house which I always brought it for him. When I look at the song, I feel so happy. That is why this song is so special for me."
Filmed on Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi, this song is very special in itself, because the song was shot in one shot and this song is the last song of Sushant's life, in which he will be seen dancing and enjoying.
On the song's release, director Mukesh Chhabra said that 'Dil Bechara' title track is my favorite track. This is the last song on Sushant. Mukesh told that the song has been choreographed by Farah Khan, they have completed the rehearsal for the song in just one day and completed the shooting of the song on the second day. Being a great dancer, Sushant's performance in the song looks very simple and effortless. Farah did has not charged any fee for this song.
