Supreme Court has declined hearing for the petition by BJP leader Ashwin Upadhay by saying that its not that huge matter for the court. Appellant Ashwin Upadhay has filed a petition in supreme court for guideing  government for the control of fake and paid news. Ashwin says he had filed a appeal to link Aadhar number to social media platform.

It has been so important for the cyber security of the country to track and deactivate all fake account to prevent it from cyber crime" said Ashwin Upadhay.

While Justice Deepak Gupta said, " if this case has been running in Madras Highcourt currently so you should wait for the verdict there.  No need to bring every matter here".  Ashwin has filed this petition to deactivate fake account on social media and to link Aadhar number to platform like Facebook and Twitter. High court is already examining the case and has asked the centre to frame guildline within the given timeline.

With the increasing fake accounts in India, It has been a risk for the cyber crime. Government has already wished to find options to stop fake accounts  and fake posts in India. Whereas high court had said previously  that social media is being rapidly misused for spreading Rumors causing Mob Voilence and Fake news.
