In the 12th season of IPL 2019 yesterday the battle was faced by Hyderabad and Delhi in which Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Delhi Capitals by five wickets at the Ferozeshah Kotla Stadium in the 16th IPL match.

Hyderabad scored the target of 130 runs in 18.3 overs given by Delhi Capital. This is his third consecutive win against Delhi. He had defeated him twice in the last season. Hyderabad got the previous defeat from Delhi in 2017.

For Hyderabad, Johnny Bairstow scored the highest 48 runs. He hit nine fours and a six in 28 balls. Bairstow shared a 64-run partnership for the first wicket with David Warner (10 runs). Mohammad Nabi remained unbeaten on 17 off nine balls. At the same time, Vijay Shankar contributed 16 runs. Delhi's Sandeep Lemichhane, Akshar Patel, Kagiso Rabada, Rahul Tewatia, and Ishant Sharma got one success.

Prior in the match, Delhi scored 129 runs after losing eight wickets in 20 overs. Captain Shreyas Iyer scored the maximum 43 runs. Akshar Patel played 23 balls for 13 balls in the last over. He made two sixes. For Mohammed Nabi, Captain Bhubaneswar Kumar and Siddharth Kaul took two wickets each for Hyderabad.

Earlier, Hyderabad won the toss and decided to bowl. And in the 12th season of IPL, this is the fourth Match of Hyderabad and the fifth match of Delhi. Hyderabad registered their third win. At the same time, the Delhi team had to face defeat for the third time.

Afghanistan's Mohammad Nabi played a pivotal role as Sunrisers Hyderabad dished out an all-around effort to record a five-wicket win over hosts Delhi Capitals and register their third consecutive victory in the IPL.

Nabi took two wickets and played an unbeaten knock of 17 runs to help Sunrisers keep their winning run intact. Chasing a modest 130, opener Jonny Bairstow smashed a 28-ball 48 to set the foundation but Sunrisers lost five wickets for 48 runs to slip to 111/5 by the end of the 16th over.

Nabi and Yusuf Pathan (9*) then held their nerves to take Sunrisers home, scoring 131/5 in 18.3 overs. The win took Sunrisers' overall head-to-head record against the Delhi team at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium to 4-1.

Earlier, Sunrisers dished out a superb bowling effort on a slow and dry wicket to restrict Delhi to 129/8. Delhi skipper Shreyas Iyer emerged as the highest scorer with a steady 41-ball 43.
