Actor Shyam Sundar, who became popular by playing the character of Sugriva in Doordarshan's historical serial Ramayan, has died in Pinjore today. Arun Govil, who plays Shri Ram in Ramayana, has given information about this by tweeting. Amidst the lockdown, the Ramayan is being re-telecast on Doordarshan, which is very much liked by the viewers and breaking all TRP records.
Arun Govil has written in condolence message on Twitter- I am saddened to hear the news of Mr. Shyam Sundar's demise. He played Sugriva in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan. Very nice personality and a gentleman. May his soul rest in peace.
