Movie producer Sudhir Mishra says male on-screen characters would prefer not to work in his movies as his legends seem to be "slight and defenseless", a subtlety which goes for a hurl in equation-based film.

Mishra, known for movies like Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Chameli, and Inkaar, is drawn towards dim characters as he trusts they are realistic as well as genuine.
