Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) has been in the news for the last few months. Sometimes, DDCA remains in the news due to the resignation of Rajat Sharma as president and sometimes factionalism in the association. Even some construction work has been done in Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium, which has been accused of corruption. On the other hand, DDCA lawyer Gautam Dutta has said that action will be taken against the conspirators who defame the DDCA ombudsman and several officials and will also register FIR after the lockdown ends in the country.
DDCA lawyer Gautam Dutta has said, "I warn those who indulge in acts of illegally spreading false and derogatory messages against DDCA. WhatsApp posts and even envelopes have been given in which false and derogatory inflammatory allegations are being made against officials, directors, former directors, lawyers."
He said that all these are punishable offenses under the provisions of the IT Act and the Indian Penal Code. We have warned such organizations to stop indulging in such antisocial and illegal acts. Some names have come up in our internal inquiries. CCTV footage shows pictures of the culprits. The names of the real conspirators have also been revealed. Disciplinary action will be taken, including termination of membership by DDCA members.
