The girl's father says that one of his relatives had talked about the girl's marriage.

In February, their girl's engagement took place in a marriage hall located in the Ramnagar area of ​​Aurangabad. In the engagement, the bride's parents gave the boy a gold ring of 10 grams and two lakh rupees in cash. The girl's father told her that he was against dowry, but he decided that for the happiness of his daughter, he would give a small amount of dowry. After the engagement, the groom's family demanded a dowry from the girl's father for a tortoise with 21 nails, a Labrador retriever, and 10 lakhs for the girl's government job.

The girl's father says that it is natural to get upset after hearing such a demand for marriage. After that, we decided to file a complaint with the police against the greedy people. A case was registered against the groom and his family members at Osmanpura police station on Wednesday. A police officer said that a case has been registered against the accused under sections 420, 406, and 34 of the IPC. Strict action will be taken against them.
