
South Indian superstar, Rajinikanth, along with his wife, Latha Rajinikanth, made a visit to the city of Lucknow on Friday (August 19). This visit comes on the heels of the massive success of his film 'Jailer' at the box office, which has been creating waves since its release.
Rajinikanth, who returned to the big screen after a two-year hiatus, has witnessed tremendous success with 'Jailer.'
Following a visit to the Badrinath shrine in Uttarakhand, Rajinikanth made his way directly to Lucknow.
He began his visit by meeting Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya. During this time, a special screening of Rajinikanth's film 'Jailor' was organized.
Both dignitaries sat down together at 1:30 PM to watch the film at Lucknow's INOX Megaplex within the Phoenix Pallasio.
Following the screening, Rajinikanth proceeded to the residence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
A video making rounds on social media captured the moment when Rajinikanth stepped out of his car and touched the feet of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath as a mark of respect.
CM Yogi Adityanath warmly welcomed Rajinikanth with a bouquet of flowers and led him inside with utmost reverence.
The two engaged in conversation, during which CM Yogi Adityanath presented Rajinikanth with a book and a shawl as tokens of appreciation.
