In Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, a shocking case of rape in a moving car has come to light. The woman alleges that the accused offered her a lift in his car and raped her throughout the night.
In the morning, he dumped her on the road and fled. Based on the woman's complaint, an FIR has been registered, and the police are investigating the matter.
According to the police, the case is suspicious as the incident occurred a month ago. The woman is from Bahraich and had gone to her relative's house in Indira Nagar, Lucknow.
On the night of April 1, at around 10 PM, she was waiting for a bus at Kamta Crossing in the Chinhat police station area to go to Bahraich. During this time, a white Scorpio stopped in front of her.
Afterwards, the driver asked the woman about her destination. She told him she needed to go to Bahraich. The accused then offered to drop her in Bahraich and asked her to get into the car.
The victim alleges that he turned the car towards Deva Road from Matiyari Crossing.
When she resisted, the accused pulled out a weapon and threatened to kill her if she didn't comply with his demands. The victim alleges that the man started to molest her and when she resisted, he grabbed her hair and slapped her. Then, he forced her to remove her clothes and raped her.
The accused allegedly committed sexual assault on the woman throughout the night in his car and fled by dumping her near a deserted area close to a Telco company in the morning.
According to the woman, the accused dropped his Aadhaar card during the incident, identifying him as Bharat Rai from Gazipur and the driver as Sanjeev.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (East Zone) mentioned that the complaint regarding the entire incident was received through social media.
Upon inquiry, it was found that the woman resides in Bahraich. Currently, the investigation into the case is being conducted in Lucknow.
