Ghaziabad Conversion Case: A recent incident has come to light in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, involving the conversion of a 17-year-old Jain boy.

The family became aware of this development when the boy began vanishing for extended periods, claiming he would visit the gym five times a day.

Concerned, the father decided to follow him and was devastated to find out that his Jain son was now visiting a mosque to offer namaz (Islamic prayers).

Eventually, the truth came out, and the boy admitted to his conversion, expressing his determination to stay in the mosque if his family decided to cast him out of their home.

In response to these developments, the boy's father filed a First Information Report (FIR) against the mosque's maulvi and Muslim youth from Mumbai named Baddo, as the transformation in his son's behaviour coincided with his contact with the same Muslim youth during an online game.

What was the whole matter?

The minor boy from a Jain family started leaving his home on a regular basis, supposedly for gym sessions, five times a day.

Growing suspicious of his behaviour, the father decided to investigate by checking the boy's mobile phone and laptop.

Surprisingly, he discovered that his son had been in contact with a Muslim man from Mumbai and had been influenced by Zakir Naik's teachings.

The boy eventually confessed to his father that he had converted to Islam.

The concerned father, growing suspicious of his son's activities, decided to tail him when he discovered that his son was regularly visiting a mosque in Sanjay Nagar Sector-23 to participate in namaz (Islamic prayers).

Now, the son confidently claims that Islam resonates with him more profoundly than any other religion, emphasizing that he has genuinely embraced Islam from the depths of his heart.

Upon inspecting his son's mobile phone and laptop, the father uncovered numerous materials pertaining to the Islamic faith.

Authorities are conducting a comprehensive investigation into the matter

Expressing his concern, the father of the victim states, "My son is a minor and lacks the ability to comprehend the consequences of his actions. These individuals have coerced my son into converting to Islam through persuasion. I fear that my son might be manipulated for anti-national activities.

It has come to my attention that these people are part of an international-level gang. There is a possibility that the mosque in Sanjay Nagar Sector-23 may be connected to this. When I approached the mosque, I received no satisfactory answers.

My son has become deeply entangled in this web, to the extent that he claims he will seek refuge in the mosque if he is ousted from our home. He has even had discussions with the Maulvi."

According to ACP Abhishek Srivastava of Ghaziabad Police, a case has been officially filed against the Imam of the mosque in Sanjay Nagar Sector-23 and an individual identified as Baddo from Mumbai.

The authorities are conducting a comprehensive investigation into the matter.
