Due to the efforts of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, for the first time in 70 years, the fate and picture of Bundelkhand is changing.
With an investment of more than 68 hundred crores, the barren Bundelkhand is now becoming a point of the industry.
In Bundelkhand, out of 50 investment proposals, more than 25 units have also started production at two hundred and fifty crores. Through which thousands of youth have got direct and indirect employment.
After assuming power in the state in 2017, CM Yogi started working by making a strategy for the development of Bundelkhand.
To remove the plight of Bundelkhand, from the construction of the expressways, it also started giving special discounts on investment to the investors.
Apart from this, many schemes like Defense Corridor, Tiger Reserve, and Har Ghar Jal were started in this area.
In this, 25 companies costing Rs 284 crore have also started production. Thousands of youth have also got direct and indirect employment in these companies.
Apart from this, work is also going to start soon on the remaining projects worth Rs 29 hundred crores.
Investments have come in Jalaun, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Banda and Mahoba in Bundelkhand. Decisions on investment proposals are being taken promptly by the government.
Of the six nodes of the Defense Corridor, Jhansi and Chitrakoot are in Bundelkhand. The rest of the nodes are Kanpur, Lucknow, Agra and Aligarh.
About 1600 hectares of land have also been purchased in five nodes. So far, about 91 industrial and institutional MoUs have also been signed by UPEDA.
Apart from private companies, DPSUs like HAL and BDL has also announced investments in the corridor.
