Tamil Nadu Firecracker Factory Blast: In Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, an explosion at a firecracker factory has resulted in the tragic death of eight people, with many others sustaining injuries.
The incident occurred on Saturday morning (July 29), causing such a powerful impact that a nearby hotel collapsed, and four other buildings were damaged.
Following the structural damage, several individuals were trapped inside these buildings.
Upon receiving the information, rescue teams from the fire department swiftly initiated rescue operations to extricate the stranded individuals.
The rescued victims have been rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
Administrative authorities stated that the explosion caused the complete destruction of the hotel and partial damage to the nearby houses.
As of now, rescue workers have not been able to ascertain the total number of people trapped in the debris.
