On Friday, a stabbing incident occurred between two students in the Surajpole area of Udaipur. One of the students was seriously injured in the incident and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Following the attack, angry members of Hindu organizations began protesting. During the protests, several vehicles were set on fire.

Stabbing Between School Students Sparks Protests and Arson

The attack occurred following a heated argument between two school students in the Surajpole police station area of Udaipur on Friday. During the altercation, a stabbing incident took place, resulting in one student being seriously injured.

The Surajpole police arrived at the scene as soon as they were informed of the incident. The seriously injured student was rushed to MB Hospital, where his condition remains critical. Doctors are currently treating the injured student.

Hindu Organizations Protest Outside MB Hospital

Meanwhile, as news of the student stabbing incident went viral on social media, Hindu organizations expressed their outrage. Thousands of activists from Hindu groups gathered at the emergency gate of MB Hospital, chanting slogans.

Upon receiving the information, Collector Arvind Poswal, SP Yogesh Goyal, Additional SP Umesh Ojha, and a heavy police contingent arrived at the hospital.

Hindu Organizations Force Market Closure in Udaipur

Following the stabbing incident, a large number of Hindu organization leaders, including MLA Phool Singh Meena, BJP city president Ravindra Srimali, and Hindu Jagran Manch's Ravi Kant Tripathi, arrived at the hospital.

Hindu activists gathered at MB Hospital then moved to Chetak Chauraha, where they forced open shops to close while chanting slogans. The police intervened, persuading the youth to calm down and restore order.

During the incident, enraged protesters set several vehicles on fire. The fire brigade managed to control the blaze. In response to the escalating protests, Section 144 has been imposed in the city.

The District Magistrate has urged people not to fall for rumours or provocations and assured that the injured student is receiving treatment from the best doctors.
