Rajasthan Election 2023: In the upcoming Rajasthan elections scheduled for November 25th, voters who do not possess a Voter ID can still exercise their voting rights without any hassle. The Election Commission has issued certain guidelines to facilitate this process.
According to these guidelines, if a voter's name is on the electoral list but they do not have a Voter ID, they can cast their vote by presenting alternative identification documents.
Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Gupta has stated that Voter Photo Identity Cards (VPIC) are being issued to all voters in each legislative assembly constituency.
However, if a voter is unable to present a VPIC (Voter Photo Identity Card), they can cast their vote by establishing their identity using one of the 11 alternative photo-identity documents.
