Rajasthan Election 2023: For the upcoming Rajasthan Legislative Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced its third list of candidates, consisting of 58 contenders.
In this latest list, the BJP has fielded Subhash Meel from Khandela, Udai Lal Dangi from Vallabhnagar, and Darshan Singh Gurjar from Karauli.
These three leaders joined the BJP just yesterday and were swiftly nominated as candidates.
In a surprising move, the BJP has also fielded candidates against Congress stalwarts Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot.
The party has nominated Dr. Mahendra Singh Rathore to challenge Ashok Gehlot in Sardarpura, while Ajit Singh Mehta will contest against Sachin Pilot in Tonk. The party decided not to nominate Yunus Khan from Tonk this time.
With the release of the third list, the BJP has now declared its candidates for 182 out of the 200 legislative assembly seats in the state. The remaining 18 candidates are expected to be announced soon.
