Rajasthan Election Results: The results of the Rajasthan Assembly elections are now clear. In these results, Nauksham Chaudhary, a resident of Nuh in Haryana, has emerged victorious on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ticket from the Kaman Assembly constituency in Bharatpur district.
BJP candidate Nauksham Chaudhary garnered 78,646 votes to secure a victory with a margin of 13,906 votes.
She defeated independent candidate Mukhtiyar Ahmad. Additionally, Minister Jahida Khan from the ruling party secured the third position.
It's noteworthy that Nauksham Chaudhary contested on the BJP ticket in the 2019 Haryana Legislative Assembly elections from the Punhana constituency but faced defeat.
However, her fate turned in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly elections, where she secured victory. The Kaman seat is a Muslim minority constituency.
Nauksham, a 30-year-old resident of Paima Khera village in Nuh district, Haryana, who holds double MA degrees and pursued mass communication in London, secured a victory as the BJP MLA.
After her win, Nauksham Chaudhary expressed gratitude to all voters, BJP workers, and the public.
She emphasized that education, electricity, roads, and water, along with corruption-free governance, will remain her top priorities.
Nauksham Chaudhary faced the challenge of being an outsider when she entered the political arena in Rajasthan from Haryana.
Despite being labelled as an external candidate, the discontent within Jahida Khan's community worked to her advantage.
The Muslim community decided to support an independent candidate, Mukhtiyar Ahmad, against Jahida Khan, creating a split in Muslim votes. This division ultimately favoured Nauksham Chaudhary, contributing to her victory.
Speaking about her education, Nauksham Chaudhary is a graduate from Miranda House College, Delhi University, and pursued post-graduation from Istituto Marangoni in Europe.
