G20 Summit: An Amritsar artist has painted a stunning portrait of US President Joe Biden in preparation for his upcoming visit to India for the G20 summit.
Dr. Jagjot Singh, a renowned artist, spent 10 days creating the 7-foot-tall, 5-foot-wide portrait. He used acrylic paints to capture Biden's likeness in vivid detail.
Singh said he was inspired to paint the portrait to welcome Biden to India for his first visit as president.
He also said he was impressed by the warm welcome that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi received when he visited the United States last year.
Dr. Jagjot Singh's artistic portfolio includes portraits of notable figures like President Droupadi Murmu, and former Indian Presidents Pranab Mukherjee and Pratibha Patil, for which he received praise and recognition.
The 18th edition of the G20 Summit, chaired by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is scheduled to take place in Delhi on September 9-10.
Stringent security measures have been put in place for this important international event.
