Nawab Malik's Health Deteriorated in ED Custody, Admitted to JJ Hospital in Mumbai
Maharashtra Minority Affairs Minister Nawab Malik, arrested in a money laundering case, has been admitted to JJ Hospital in Mumbai after his health deteriorated. In this regard, information has been given from the office of Nawab Malik. It has been informed from his office that Nawab Malik has been admitted to JJ Hospital due to medical reasons.
It is noteworthy that the Enforcement Directorate has arrested Nawab Malik in a money laundering case and he is in ED custody till March 3. Meanwhile, he complained of ill health, after which he has been admitted to JJ Hospital in the city.
Nawab Malik's office has tweeted - Nawab Malik Sahib has been admitted to JJ Hospital due to medical reasons. According to the officials, Malik has been admitted to JJ Hospital. However, it is not yet known what was the problem with Nawab Malik, after which he was admitted to the hospital.
Nawab Malik was arrested on 23 February
Nawab Malik was arrested by the ED on Wednesday, 23 February, after which he was produced before the special court, from where he has been sent to ED custody till March 3. ED claims that this investigation is being done against Nawab Malik in connection with gangster Dawood Ibrahim and his associates.
In this case, the ED had also questioned Nawab Malik's daughter Nilofer. Nawab Malik was questioned by the ED for a long time, after which he was arrested. Nawab Malik had said on these inquiries that he is not afraid, the government is using government agencies to intimidate us.
