MP: Central Minister Prahlad Patel Involved in Road Accident, One Fatality and Three Injured
Central Minister Prahlad Patel was involved in a road accident on Tuesday, narrowly escaping with minor injuries.
Unfortunately, the incident claimed the life of a 35-year-old individual, while three others sustained injuries.
The accident occurred while Minister Patel's convoy was travelling from Chhindwara to Narsinghpur in Madhya Pradesh.
It is reported that the accident happened in an attempt to save a motorcyclist. Prahlad Patel, who is also a candidate in the upcoming Madhya Pradesh legislative assembly elections from Narsinghpur, was conducting a public outreach campaign in Chhindwara and was returning to Narsinghpur when the accident took place.

Prahlad Singh Patel has been serving as the Minister of Food Processing Industries and Jal Shakti as a Minister of State in India since July 7, 2021.
He is also a Member of Parliament representing the Damoh Lok Sabha constituency in Madhya Pradesh.
Prahlad Patel has had a long-standing political career, having been elected to the Lok Sabha several times, including his tenure as Minister of State for Coal in the third Vajpayee ministry.
The accident is believed to have occurred while trying to avoid a collision with a motorcyclist.

The location where the accident involving Prahlad Patel's car and a motorcyclist occurred has a history of several road accidents.
Despite being designated as a black spot, the authorities responsible for the national highway have yet to implement measures to curb accidents on this stretch.
