
A violent clash erupted late at night on Thursday (August 17) between two parties in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The security guard of a bank opened fire indiscriminately with a licensed firearm, resulting in the death of 2 individuals and leaving 6 others seriously injured.
The wounded have been admitted to a private hospital for treatment, while the bodies have been sent for post-mortem. The police have arrested the guard, Rajpal Rajawat, in connection with the double murder.
According to witnesses, the incident stemmed from a minor argument between the guard, Rajpal, and his neighbour over walking a dog.
As the argument escalated, Rajpal opened fire with his licensed gun, killing two people and injuring six. Among the injured, two women are in critical condition.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Amarinder Singh, stated that the dispute originated from a disagreement regarding walking a dog.
The bank guard resorted to firing shots, leading to the loss of two lives and injuries to six others.
The suspect has been apprehended, and a thorough investigation is underway.
