
A fire erupted on the Udyana Express at Bengaluru KSR railway station, precisely two hours after passengers had alighted from the train.
South Western Railways has officially confirmed this incident.
Officials reported that the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-KSR Bengaluru Udyan Express (Train Number 11301) caught fire on Saturday morning after arriving at Bengaluru KSR station.
There have been no reports of injuries or casualties in this incident, which happened around 7 a.m.
Station authorities noticed smoke coming from the train's engine and sounded the alarm. Following the alert, a fire brigade team arrived at the scene and brought the situation under control.
