Dhanbad Judge Death Case: Charges Framed against accused Lakhan and Rahul

In the death of Dhanbad Additional District and Sessions Judge Uttam Anand, the court of Additional District and Session Judge-3 has framed charges against accused Lakhan Kumar Verma and Rahul Kumar Verma. A case has been registered against both the accused for murder, destruction of evidence and committing an offence under the common intention. The court has framed the charge on Wednesday. The next hearing, in this case, will be on February 22, 2022.
Both the accused were interrogated by the CBI for hours

The CBI had interrogated both the accused for hours after going to jail on January 31, 2022. Although the CBI had sought permission from the court for questioning till February 3, the court had given time from January 29 to 31, 2022. Under this, CBI interrogated both the accused for hours on 31 January.
Let us tell you that the Jharkhand High Court had also reprimanded the CBI for not showing special progress in this matter. The court had said that looking at the status of the investigation, it seems that the CBI now wants to get rid of its body from this case.
During the morning walk Dhanbad judge Uttam Anand was hit by auto on July 28, 2021 and was died in this accident. At the same time, a picture of deliberate stumbling was seen in the CCTV footage. After much pressure, the police arrested the auto driver Lakhan Kumar Verma and his associate Rahul Kumar Verma. The investigation of this case was received by the CBI. CBI conducted two other tests including a narco test of both the accused, but the reasons for the murder could not be revealed. Here, the Jharkhand High Court has also expressed displeasure over the slow progress of the CBI.
