Major Success: Security Forces Eliminate 5 Foreign Terrorists in Kupwara Operation
In a major triumph, security forces in Jammu and Kashmir achieved a significant victory by successfully neutralizing 5 foreign terrorists in an operation conducted in the Kupwara district.
The operation was initiated this morning based on confidential information, involving a coordinated effort by the army and Jammu and Kashmir police.
Presently, a comprehensive search operation is underway in the entire area to ensure complete safety and eliminate any potential threats.
Lashkar-e-Taiba Terrorist was Arrested in Baharabad Hajin Operation
Earlier on June 13, in a significant development, security forces successfully apprehended a terrorist associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba in Baharabad Hajin.
During the operation, two Chinese hand grenades were recovered from the arrested individual. This meticulously executed operation was conducted jointly by the Bandipora Police, 13 RR, and CRPF 45BN Battalion.
As per available information, a case has been registered against the terrorist under the Arms Act and UA (P) Act, highlighting the severity of the charges.
Two LeT Terrorists Were Arrested with Arms in Baramulla District
Security forces achieved a notable success on June 1 in the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir by apprehending two individuals associated with the militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
Acting on reliable intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in Frestihar Kreeri village, the police had established a Mobile Vehicle Checkpoint (MVCP) at the Frestihar Waripora crossing
When two suspects attempted to flee upon noticing the security personnel, they were successfully apprehended.
Upon searching the arrested individuals, Suhail Gulzar of Frestihar Kreeri and Waseem Ahmad Pata of Hudipora Rafiabad, two Chinese pistols, two magazines, and a total of 15 pistol rounds were found in their possession.
A case has been registered against them, and an ongoing investigation is currently underway.
