Jammu Kashmir: Three Jaish-e-Mohammed Terrorists including one Pakistani killed in the Encounter
Security forces killed three militants, including a Pakistani, during an encounter in the Pulwama area of Jammu & Kashmir on Wednesday morning. All three terrorists slain were Jaish-e-Mohammed members. They were found with weapons and explosives. Three Jaish terrorists were killed during the confrontation in Chandgam, Pulwama, according to Kashmir IG Vijay Kumar. One of them was a Pakistani national. They were found with two M-4 carbines, an AK-47 rifle, and various explosives.
The terrorists were requested to surrender
Earlier, the Kashmir Zone Police stated that security forces began a search operation in Chandgam hamlet after laying siege to the village. The terrorists were requested to surrender, but when they refused, the battle began. Two dangerous terrorists were killed
According to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, a feared Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist was killed down in Harwan, on the outskirts of Srinagar, yesterday, January 4. In a tweet, Kashmir's Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar named the killed terrorist as Salim Parre, a Lashkar-e-Taiba member.
Pakistani terrorist Hafiz managed to flee
Another foreign terrorist was also murdered, according to the tweet. However, it was eventually revealed that only Salim was slain. According to sources, Pakistani terrorist Hafiz managed to flee, but a search operation is underway in the area to apprehend him. During the same campaign, Hafiz was assassinated. Hafiz alias Hamza was implicated in other terrorist attacks, including the assassination of two police officers in Bandipora, according to Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar.
