HP: There has been a stir in the administration after a video of Khalistani flags being raised outside the Himachal Pradesh Assembly went viral. Khalistan flags were found tied on the main gate and boundary wall of Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly in Dharamshala.

On this act, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that it is a mischievous act which is giving wrong message.

The Chief Minister said that strict action would be taken against the culprits and those who carried out this incident would not be spared. Jai Ram Thakur said, 'If you have the courage to do this in the dark of night, then show it in the daytime. This is a cowardly act, we will not spare the guilty.'

SP Kangra, Khushal Sharma said, 'May be it happened late night or early morning. We have removed Khalistan flags from the assembly gate. This could be an act of some tourists from Punjab. We are going to register the case today.

Police has started investigating the whole matter

After the matter came to light, the police reached the spot and uprooted the flags. Police said that the local people here had informed about black flags at the main gate of the assembly early in the morning.

In a 12-second video, Khalistani flags are seen on the gate and wall outside the assembly building in Tapovan with Khalistani written on them in English. At present, the police has started investigating the whole matter and is also questioning the local citizens as to who put these flags.

Let us tell you that some time ago the pro-Khalistan group Sikh for Justice (SFJ) had threatened to hoist the Khalistani flag in Shimla on 29 April.
