Karnal: Haryana Police has got a big success against terrorism. According to the information, the police have arrested four suspected terrorists in Karnal. According to news agency ANI, a huge amount of weapons have been recovered from them.
Karnal Police arrested four terrorists on the information of IB on Thursday near Bastara toll. It is being told that terrorists were about to carry out some major incident, which has been thwarted with promptness.
According to the sources, the four terrorists are related to the terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) of Punjab. To catch them, IB Punjab Police and Haryana Police conducted a joint operation and arrested them. It is being told that the vehicle belonging to the suspects was searched with the help of robot.
This is because the police feared that there would be more explosives in it. So many bullets and gunpowder have been recovered from the terrorists. These people were capable of carrying out major incidents in many places.
Ganga Ram Punia (Superintendent of Police, Karnal) has informed the media that the police have come to know that they had brought supplies from Ferozepur and were to come around Adilabad (Telangana) with supplies. 3 accused are residents of Ferozepur and one accused is from Ludhiana.
A country-made pistol, 31 cartridges and 3 IEDs were recovered after a search of their vehicle in the presence of the BDDS team. BDDS team is present on the spot and taking further action. An FIR has been registered in the Madhuban police station regarding the matter.
Further, the Superintendent of Police, Karnal told that the names of the arrested youths are Gurpreet, Amandeep, Parminder, and Bhupinder. Khalistani terrorist Rinda had sent these weapons from Pakistan to Ferozepur via drones.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has said that we got the news from Punjab, based on which we have caught the vehicle. A weapon has been found from the car and some people have also been caught. What was their motive, it will be known only after investigation.
