Oath taking ceremony at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium

The swearing-in ceremony will start after some time at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium. A government spokesperson said that PM Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will be present at the ceremony. More than 10,000 people are expected to attend the function at the stadium and the swearing-in ceremony will also be telecast through various news channels in the state Goa. However, Bhartiya Janata Party has so far remained silent on the number of other cabinet ministers who took oath on Monday.

Will come to know about cabinet ministers soon

Sawant has said that you will get to know about the cabinet ministers soon. Right now, I don't know how many ministers will take the oath. Apart from the Chief Minister, there may be 11 more ministers in the Goa cabinet. This will be the second time in the history that the CM of Goa will take oath outside the Raj Bhawan complex. The BJP had emerged as the single largest party in the House when Manohar Parrikar was sworn in as CM in 2012 at the Campal Ground in the state capital, Panaji.
