The havoc of Corona continues in India. Its infection is increasing wildly in many states. Goa is one of those states where there has been a sudden jump in the number of infected people. At the same time, in view of the increasing infection of Corona in the state, it has been decided to close the Raj Bhavan here for a week i.e. till January 23, 2022. Gaurish J Shankhwalkar, Joint Secretary to the Governor, has said in the order that corona infection has been found in many employees of Raj Bhavan, in view of which the Raj Bhavan is ordered to be closed for a week.

Let us tell you that according to the data released by the Health Department of Goa, 3,274 of Corona have been found infected in the last 24 hours, while four people have died. The infection rate is being recorded very high in the state. The infection rate has increased to 38.16 percent. However, 1,789 people have recovered and returned home in a day. At the same time, 20,078 corona infected are currently being treated in the state.

Corona figures have been released by the Union Health Ministry on Monday, according to which 2,58,089 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in India in the last 24 hours. However, this is about 13,113 less cases than yesterday i.e. Sunday. On Sunday, 2,71,202 cases of corona virus were reported. There have been 1,51,740 recoveries in the last 24 hours. During this 385 people have died due to corona. Active cases of corona in the country have reached 16,56,341. The total recovery has reached 3,52,37,461 and the total number of deaths has reached 4,86,451. The total cases of Omicron in India have reached 8,209.
