According to information, this incident occurred in the Jagat Puri area of Delhi. Last night at 8:47 PM, a seven-year-old girl was playing outside her house. During that time, the neighbour's pet dog, a Pitbull, attacked the girl and dragged her away.
The dog bit the girl, causing serious injuries. Upon hearing the girl's screams, family members rushed to the scene and rescued the girl.
Afterwards, the injured girl was taken to the hospital in critical condition, and information about the incident was reported to the police.
Upon receiving the information, the police promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation. The girl has sustained injuries in multiple places on her body.
The treatment of the girl was carried out at Hedgewar Hospital. Based on the complaints from the girl's family, the police have registered a case against the dog owner under sections 289 and 337 of the Indian Penal Code.
