HM Shah while addressing a rally during election campaign pitched “ Aap unhe vote dein, hum unhe bahot bada aadmi bana denge”, as a result of this pitch BJP won all 14 seats from the Tribal belt of Chhattisgarh, playing pivotal role in party’s victory in state.

BJP has reciprocated the warmth shown by Tribal community by naming Vishnu Deo Sai , a very senior Tribal leader as its Chief Minister for the state.

How Sai became the first choice for the chair?

Sai is known for his non-controversial record with a calm demeanor and proven organizational skills along with Grass root connect. Raman Singh who served as CM for 3 Terms, Proposed Sai as his preferred candidate for the task.

Sai possess a vast political Experience. He has served as MLA, MP, Central Minister and Party State President. Sai is known to have a clean track record and to follow party decisions without contesting.

Balancing Caste Dynamics in Chhattisgarh

Veteran BJP Leader and Three Times Chief Minister Raman Singh hailing from Thakur Caste is likely to be named as Speaker.

OBC Leader Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma (Brahmin) are likely to take Oath as Deputy Chief Ministers.

Senior Party sources Indicated that Sai Council of Ministers is likely to have 4 Ministers from General category and 5 from both OBC and Tribal communities.

As per the credible reports, Sai cabinet is likely to be sworn on 13th December at science college Raipur.
