Stable Version of Android 10 Rolled out for OnePlus 5 and 5T

OnePlus has rolled out the stable Android 10 update for its 2017 OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T launches. The stable Android 10 update has been rolled out with Oxygen 10 for both these devices.

OnePlus has rolled out the stable Android 10 update for its 2017 OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T launches.  The stable Android 10 update has been rolled out with Oxygen 10 for both these devices.  The company had already promised its users that Android 10 update will be made available for the OnePlus 5 series in the second quarter of 2020.  The beta version was rolled out last month for these devices.  Within a month, the company has rolled out three open beta versions for its devices.  Now the company has rolled out the stable version for these devices.

According to the OnePlus Community Forum, users will get a near-stock Android experience with this new update.  In addition, users will also get advanced digital wellbeing, upgraded security features and privacy features.  With the new update of Android 10, users will also get features like navigation gestures, system wide dark mode, full screen gestures.  In Oxygen OS 10 based on Android 10, users will get a completely new theme and design experience.  Also, users will also get the experience of Zen mode rolled out for OnePlus 7 Series.

The Android 10 OTA (over the air) update size rolled out for OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T is 1.8GB.  Users can download it by going to the settings option.  If you have not received the update yet, you may have to wait for a few days.  This update has been rolled out phase wise.  Before downloading this update of Android 10, make sure that your device is connected to Wi-Fi or fast internet.  Due to the size of the update, it may take longer to download it via mobile data.
