On Sunday 9 February, Bush Fire Cricket Bash match to be held at Melbourne's Junction Oval ground, which is being organized to help victims affected by the fire in Australia's forests. There are two teams in this cricket bash, one team is the Ponting XI led by former Australian captain Ricky Ponting, while the other team is Gilchrist XI led by former wicketkeeper-batsman Adam Gilchrist of the Australian team. The playing eleven of both these teams has been announced.
The former Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh has been named in Gilchrist XI. On the other hand, legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar will be seen coaching Potting XI. Cricket Australia has announced the playing eleven of teams led by Ponting and Gilchrist. Shane Warne has to go to South Africa for an important task. In such a situation, he will not be able to participate in this match. This match will be 10–10 overs.
